Supposedly, Rummy asked George to give him more time to see it through. Supposedly George didn't promise it. Rummy was supposed to go after the elections but he's still hanging on and looking more defensive than ever. He's also contradicting George, in public, about the possible closing of Gitmo (as if...they'll just move it down the beach and call it Son of Gitmo).
