Rick,

In spite of some hesitation about market exuberance I find the P&F charts for ACAD, ARNA, and IDEV generally very good, and encouraging to say the least:

ACAD:
stockcharts.com[PA][D][F1!3!1.67!!2!20]&pref=G

I see a very nice breakout with little or no resistance.

ARNA:
stockcharts.com[PA][D][F1!3!1.67!!2!20]&pref=G

A move to 7.17 would get past the light resistance that I see.

IDEV:
stockcharts.com[PA][D][F1!3!1.67!!2!20]&pref=G

There's more risk here, but the stock built a good base and now has some energy behind it.

Really, I could be content buying any of the three.

PTN is trying to test its resistance at 2.17. It needs to close above that in order to test the more important August 4-August 5 double top at the 2.24 level.

It is up 9.79% today on low volume of 118,400.It will present at the Thomas Weisel Partners 2005 Healthcare Conference on Friday, September 9 in Boston.

PTN has a low LTD and the insiders that reportedly hold more than 5% did some buying in May. It has been reporting lower losses and better revenues in the last 3Qs compared to 2004, although not on a sequential basis.<g> ( The EL for 2005 is around $0.27/shr vs. $0.55/shr in 2004.)
