dippy. You said....."How pathetic! Satellite photos a la Powell's crap at the UN. And vague references to "Saddam's men" visiting some camp. Yeah, that is worth losing 1700+ troops over and spending $300+ billion (and more in the coming years)."....

What is it worth, what should be the price of confronting islam terrorist filth.? Do you even believe that islam terror is a problem? If so then what do you suggest be done about islam radicals/

I agree with one thing you say and that is that the loss of even one American or other civilized human being at the hands of islam terrorist filth is a terrible price to pay.

Do you believe 9/11 happened? Do you believe the Cole incident? Do you believe all the loss of innocent lives in embassy bombings? Do you believe the first Trade center bombing occurred at the hands of islam crazies? islam crazies have been attacking and murdering innocent Americans for many years so what do you suggest the president of the USA do? Should islam terror be left alone and allowed to get stronger?

So tell me something dipy should the president openly state that the USA is at war with islam....which IMO it is.

If you agree that islam is a problem then what do you suggest the civilized world do?

Powell never showed the photos in question, to my knowledge. They were non-military Sat photos. Nothing about the particular training camp in question has ever either been debunked not even played up much, to my knowledge.

Saddam murdered way too many folks, and had too much hate for us, period, for this war to have been a waste. 911 proves such camps in Iraq were not a joke unworthy of concern. No one questions that they were real indeed. Any honest look at the big picture, and you'd know better than to single out some small part of the evidence that I've happened to mention in order to ridicule the decision to go to war, and you'd know why Kerry wanted to go to war, too, and why he wants to finish the job. It seems you are incapable of realizing how vulnerable we really are, nor how worthy stopping those asshole radicals therefore also is. It was never safe to leave them alone. It was never a good bet to merely ask them to love us for leaving them alone. Saddam and Al Qaeda have some things in common: Hatred for the U.S., and Hitler's desire to make the world over to suit. American is founded on religious freedom, and that precludes what radical Islam wishes to do with others of other beliefs. Even Cat Stevens once said he should personally kill Salmon Rushdie, if need be. Powerful, dangerous, and sick stuff, all in all (but man do I love that Tea for the Tillerman album).
