>> Screw, how dare you lie to us, dude? You don't know what you're saying, and you clearly don't know the historical meaning of the words, Zion and Israel....

Zion, or Sion, is an archaic term that originally referred to a section of Jerusalem, which, by Biblical definition, is the City of David. After the death of King David, the term Zion came to refer to the hill in Jerusalem which was the site of Solomon's temple. Later, Zion came to refer to temple and the temple grounds themselves. Beyond that, Zion is used to symbolize Jerusalem and the Promised Land of God to come, in which God dwells among his chosen people. <<

we will establish once again just who is the liar on this thread.

according to the definition of zion you yourself provided:

"Later, Zion came to refer to temple and the temple grounds themselves"

the Holy Apostle John:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. --John 2:19-21

the Holy Apostle Paul:

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. --1 Corinthians 3:16-17

the Holy apostle Paul:

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. --Ephesians 2:20-22

Jesus Christ and his Church are the holy temple of the Lord, which according to the definition you provided us is a definition of Zion.

thank you for helping to prove what i have told you all along, that Zion/Jerusalem are titles/names for Christ and his chosen people Christians.

those who call themselves "jews", "zionists", "israel", etc. without being joined to Christ and his Church are the lying synagogue of Satan and are of their father the devil.

--the true Jews are spiritual Jews who praise God, rather than men.
--the true Zionists flow into the mountain of the Lord's house which is established in the top of the mountains, exalted above the hills

the false and carnal zionists forsake the heavenly zion and choose not to go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob which is exalted above the hills, but rather seek to flow into a literal mount in the sides of the north, a literal kingdom called "israel" in palestine, and they desire a temple mount, and an earthly building rather than the spiritual temple which has Christ as the chief cornerstone.

>> Is·ra·el·ite (iz're-?-lit')
n.
A native or inhabitant of the ancient Northern Kingdom of Israel.
A descendant of Jacob; a Jew.
A member of a people regarded as the chosen people of God.
A Jew not descended from the tribe of Levi and not a priest.
adj. <<

once again according to the definition you have provided:

"A descendant of Jacob; a Jew."

1) Christ is called Jacob/Israel in the scriptures.

2) But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. --Isaiah 41:9

so we know that Jacob was given the new name Israel and was chosen of God, and was the seed of Abraham.

now let's see how all this applies to Christ.

1) Christ is a descendant of Jacob, from the line of Judah. Christ is the chosen servant the seed of Abraham.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. --Galatians 3:16

Christ is the seed of Abraham spoken of in Isaiah 41. this seed of Abraham is also called "chosen" and the "servant" of God.

But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; And charged them that they should not make him known: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. --Matthew 12:15-18

you see? Christ is the "chosen", the "servant", the "seed".

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself... --Hosea 10:1
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. --John 15:1

Israel is clearly called a vine in several places of the Old Testament. (see Psalms 80:8 for another example)

Christ declared himself to be the "true vine" i.e. the "true Israel"

if there is a true Israel there must needs be a false one as well.

now you can either reject Christ's words and perish or you can accept them and receive life.

the one thing you cannot do is continue to manipulate people on this thread by saying that i am distorting the teachings or words of Christ.

Christ declared himself to be the true Israel. if you cannot accept this clear teaching then you are not of God but of the devil. the choice is yours. i'm just declaring to you the consequences of your choice.

Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. --John 8:43-47

so tejek,

the choice is clear. do you accept Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, and the true Israel?

or not?
