That's ok. We can feel differently. For me the body is a shell which the person inhabits. For people to be people they need to a have brain that is working (or that will work in future). Once the brain dies, or before it is really working (in a zygote, for example)- no person exists as far as I am concerned. Where the unborn are concerned the potential of personhood exists, if things develop normally. For the brain dead there is no possibility of potential, and as far as I am concerned they are dead.

It doesn't upset me that you feel differently, and your ideas are not upsetting. I just don't happen to agree with you.
