as. You said...."Kerry was a war hero and a peace hero whom they feared and had to smear to beat."...... I disagree.... IMO kery was a dangerous punk traitor. I am of an age where I remember the footage of him on the news accusing his fellow American soldiers of all sorts of terrible crimes. I wondered at the time how in the world was this traitor allowed to run loose and why did he get all the attention that he did. IMO he was just a long haired traitor punk taking advantage of an anti war movement. And come to think of it just how did this anti war movement by hippy love everyone, free sex flower people help the USA?? To day we have the same anti war BS by fools that just don't understand that there are crazies out there that HATE the USA and all free countries. This time it is islam nut bars who are the enemy and IMO these crazies are more dangerous than any enemy the free world has ever had to confront. IMO there is only ONE solution to the problem of islam terrorists crazies....only ONE solution. Bush may have done many thing wrong but one thing he did that is CORRECT is to confront islam NOW.

Letter sent today to Dick Durbin Dear Senator: I chose "other" for the topic because the topic is you. I, nor anyone in may family, want your apology; you do not deserve the opportunity to ask for an apology to be accepted. You lied, you know you lied, you knew the meaning and importance of your lies when you said them and yet you said them. You said them because you wanted your nation, your nation's leaders and our brave men and women in uniform to be tainted, around the world, by your lie. You lied, because you know, just as clearly as my very liberal 14 year old nephew knows (as he told me), that nothing in our conduct at GITMO comes within a hair's breadth of the Nazi regime in Germany, the Soviet's gulag or Pol Pot's murderous rampage. When prisoners are taken in war, the priority of our policies are never their swift return to the battlefield, nor do we put them before civilian courts and string them up for their "offenses". We treat them as humanely as possible, for the duration. Who determines the duration? Those who continue to make war against us. Did we know how long we would keep our first German prisoners in WWII? No. When the war's end was not yet visible, was our prisoner policies seeking their swift return to fight against us? No. Did we charge each prisoner with a civilian offense (like attempted murder) in civilian courts. No. It would have been unthinkable. Did we, and do we, sometimes harshly, interrogate some prisoners to help us learn enough about the enemy to bring his fighting to a swifter end? Yes. Is that harshness torture, by any standard? No. You know it, I know it and my 14 year old very liberal nephew knows it. He knows you lied. Unlike me, he does not understand why you lied. As have many others in your party recently, you have come to the point where your nation and its people can be treated like just so much trash, if doing so will damage your opponent, our President, and help restore your party's power. You are a sick individual. You can spin your excuses all you want, but excuses is all that you will ever be able to say about your treasonous lying in the hallowed chambers of our Congress. Your lying words are out, they have already started on their way to doing the damage you hoped such lies would do - the political damage you seek to inflict against our nation's government, simply because it is led by your opponents. You cannot take back your lies, you cannot reverse the damage they will continue to inflict. No apology will ever bridge the gap of your absent political integrity. We, the American people, will not let our integrity as a nation be paved over with your lies and slander against our country. We will demand nothing less than your resignation from your office in the Senate. You have defamed yourself beyond what any apology can remedy. ... credit to blogger
