Our own American POW's from other wars should band together, and DEMAND that Durbin give them an open hearing....One where he is made by the Nation as a whole, to listen in great depth just what has happened to them as POW's in other Nations.

I suggest Senator John McCain could be an appropriate person to lobby for this effort.

Now that he has "apologized," Durbin might want to start lobbying in his home state for better prison conditions, particularly in the hell hole known as Cook County Jail.

Rasmussen conducted a poll and determined that "Seven-out-of-ten adults believe the prisoners are being treated "better than they deserve" (36%) or "about right" (34%)."
