Some of us are trying to think through the issues Bill in this debate. Most of my indecisiveness comes on iraq because there are so many crosscurrents and so much at stake.
What is clear to me is that this admin botched the project post victory. The day it started is the day rummy said they were just blowing off steam when some started to loot. I remember thinking this when i first saw the unprotected stockpiles of iraq regime weapons. Well the worse did happen regarding those weapons, didnt it?
That should have been the first signal that we would be unprepared for what was to come. But some of you folks think bush and rummy are doing just fine. War is always a mess so what me worry is the mantra.
On what other issues am i "all over the place". I discuss politics and think the future is with the party who moves to the center. If neither do and the next candidate is not named bush or one that could easily be demonized, the republicans continue to have the edge. A more liberal stem cell policy would help alot in widening a lead. The dems have to either legitimize hillary as a centrist or find a new moderate face like Bayh who offsets Romney nicely with youth and vigor. Mike
