Yes, I've noticed that in Europe too. And it doesn't seem to make sense since energy costs (taxes) are so high in European countries. While I have your brilliant engineering mind online, thought I would ask one of those dumb questions which bugs me. Why is it the little light showering printer power and computer power never seem to burn out or need replacing? ;-) I want that technology in our Italian home, the lights are always burning out because we refuse to use those dingy Italian light-bulbs!
