Somewhat disgusted that my microcap biotech stock trading is not getting anywhere, I snagged my monthly performance figures. Here they are, going back to Jan 03. Sigh. On the one hand it is good I've not pissed the account away, on the other, this seems not to be serving much purpose--overall, I've made something around 1% a month or about $500. Not a great hobby--and actually, I can see now that I did nothing in Nov/Dec 03, and would have done well to do nothing since. Interesting. I may already be on a course to 'piss it away'.

So, it certainly looks like it is time for a different strategy--perhaps trade less often or not at all? Surely more frequent trading cannot be the answer. I am not too crazy about selling the two stocks I have, although they've done very poorly over the past week. Am somewhat inclined to do nothing --that is, do no trades for awhile. At least then I will not have myself to blame <g>. |
