I agree. It's like their voice of the customer department is permanently out to lunch.

Exactly, they seem to want to set trends rather than give their customers what they want. A classic example is keeping headlights on whenever the car is in operation. I can't tell you how many complaints I have heard people make about that feature......most think GM did it to sell more Delco batteries.
