Announced in the CC: The informal investigation was terminated. Also, will repurchase shares. Management reported 4Q05 revenue of $103m, which was at the top end of the guidance range of $93-103m. 4Q05 diluted EPS was $0.30, which was within the guidance range of $0.29-0.34. 4Q05 net income was $17.7m. 1Q06 fully diluted EPS is expected to be $0.22-0.27. Shares of OmniVision Technologies (nasdaq: OVTI) were seen down 3% in late trading after the specialty chip firm announced lower-than-expected first-quarter guidance. OmniVision said it expects earnings per share to range from 22 cents to 27 cents, compared with the Street estimate of 30 cents. The company also reported fourth-quarter earnings a penny below estimates, announcing income of 30 cents per share on sales of $103 million.
