You know Grainne, I don't know how to get through to people. I am tired of trying. I know you try so much harder than me here on SI, but I try in real life.. I really don't think anymore, that any one person can influence another's thought until that one other experiences something that brings it home to them.. I guess that is evolution.. But at one time I thought that evolution might work, on a coincident, parabolic, educational curve, at a faster or at least a similar pace, as we moved through time, because it HAS to be for most species to survive.. Because we are growing at PARABOLIC rate, but it seems like we are not learning and growing at the SAME rate..... Where people learned from their ancestors, built upon their foundation of knowledge, like understanding the symbiosis of all on this planet, like understanding the importance of preserving our life support system, like understanding that every damn thing we do has ramifications on down the line, etc. And more to the point, if we wage WAR on our OWN species.. WHAT the hell does that SAY to how we feel, about the rest of the living on this planet. NOT MUCH, I say.. A good litmus test I might add of our being.. But I am tired of trying since I see that our curve of learning is climbing so slow.. Take care, m
