The same can be applied to anything, as long as the reward is huge. Consider the reward to risk ratio. In this case, it's a win-win situation because whoever has control of iraq oil will have enornous clout and power. No need to tell you who has that control now. Sharing is not an option. I also think it's not as black and white as the referred article. That Saddam was one time a strong ally who was brought to the pedestal by you know who. So forget about all that baloney about wmd's and what not, at then present and future in the case of saddam. Most people buys into that concept. I keep thinking the phrase referring to the last drop of oil will come from Iraq. That's plenty of financial and economic power, and who else should wrest that power?

Yet, there are other factors that most people don't know or realize. It's the underlying forces with visions and directives to what this mid century and end of century will be. We are mere sacrificial peons (pawns) to the grand strategy of things. That's what Tobaggo Jack has been referrig to.
