Good for Newt! Hopefully, the Senators will pay heed to this. This is beyond a right-left isue...it is an American issue, and one that directly affects the people who are fighting for us.

Newt's words are exactly right:

While I personally am so angry even a censure seems LIGHT punishment to me, I do agree that Newt wrote a compelling letter to the Senators and any senator who fails to heed it SHOULD be brought out into the light in the next election INCLUDING REPUBLICANS as well as DEMOCRATS. I will vote against ANYONE of any party who fails to fully support our troops and our valid actions in this WAR ON TERROR. jdn
