It is my understanding that cost is NOT the issue. The issue is, once they are on US soil, there are legal procedures that are available to them, and such procedures are not available in Gitmo, coz its not US soil.

one of the talking heads on chris matthews show this morning says if we think they are guilty put them through our court system and if found not guilt let them go.

huh ? How efficient is our court system. even if a few get off on technicality we can go watch a car bomb or two go off in a major city.

if these people get released at all ship them back to their own country.
