Agree Dale.

I know about five people who are on SS Disability who should not be on it. Once on it there is no way it seems to get them off. For example they might have been put on when really down and out but their health improves and they are earning money on the side doing jobs and the SS still comes in along paying prescriptions. One woman married into wealth in the interim and still collects the disability... Robbery.

Yes targeting in these programs can be hard politically and practically but without it you can either have a big mess, or a totally socialist system, or a backlash against even the aid to those who need it most and are least responsible for being in a situation where they need it.
