Liar. the smearvets were 100% initially funded and organized by Bush-Delay-Rove compatriots out of Texas, the very same behind-the-scenes dirty tricksters who ran the creepy smear campaign against McCain for Bush-Rove in 2000. Funder Perry is now getting a 6 million buck contract from Delay. Of course Rove is going to try to deny it and buffer Bush. Just like the mafia does. O'Neill had no message to deliver for vets except LIES. WHat service did he do vets by lying to them? Do you thjink liars are helpful people? Kerry has been a champion of veterans rights his entire career. If O'Neill thought the Vietnam War should have gone on forever, he should have said that. He never did. Instead, he invented a bunch of outrageous lies and exaggerations to give people the opposite impression of Kerry than what was true. Kerry was a magnificent brave soldier and went through a gut-wrenching combat experience in Nam but never wavered. After that he was a magnificent peace-maker. In both cases he was a hero, never lied, never went AWOL, never cheated, never used his family to get him off.
