re: foreign sanctuaries

But American officials have long said they believed bin Laden was hiding in rugged mountains along the Afghan-Pakistani border."

what is that? some kind of 3rd way, no man's land?

either he is hiding in afghanistan, pakistan or possibly iran

what ever happened to the bush doctrine, going directly after terrorists and the nations that harbor them?

if he is in pakistan, afghanistan .....or iran, which sovereign state is he referring to???

has the bush doctrine been abandoned as a politically expedient practical matter assuming they think they really know where he is hiding?
