I think your UN idea is perfect. The UN will not do it, therefore we can continue doing what needs to be done...

I just remembered, what ever happened to the idea that Arab nations were going to take over peacekeeper duties after we removed saddam? Wasn't that the plan?

re: People advocating an immediate withdrawal of coalition forces from Iraq with nothing to replace them are trying to create a humanitarian tragedy, not avert one.

People advocating an immediate withdrawal are trying avoid prolonging a humanitarian tragedy, and to allow the inevitable to happen. About 1 US soldier get killed, on average, everyday in Iraq. What for?

I guarantee you if Bush pulled out of Iraq, you guys would wear out the issue in 2008 that we left Iraq too early. Right out of your worn out playbook...

People advocating an immediate withdrawal of coalition forces from Iraq with nothing to replace them are trying to create a humanitarian tragedy, not avert one.

Dude, what coalition forces? Are you making a joke? There are only American forces interspersed with a few foreign soldier liasons to make it look good. Only a myth based hawk would call them coalition forces.

As for a humanitarian tragedy, nothing will change.....the tragedy started from day one of the war.
