Doing things that remove islam radicals from planet Earth where ever they may be found is not a stupid thing to do....whether you like it or not or whether you understand it or not Iraq is like a huge moslum radical magnet...IMO just as it was designed to be.... You have said some pretty far out things but saying fighting islam crazies in Iraq is " swelling " the ranks of the islam crazies is really far out. These so called suicide bombers have been trained over many years to do just what they are doing....Unfortunately the free world allowed these islam crazies to become strong enough to present a threat to the worlds only super power..... Of all the freedoms we enjoy freedom of religion is a biggie and it is the one that has allowed the islam crazies to expand in the free world to the point where they are an actual threat. Never thought I would say this BUT China seems to have the right idea where religious crazies are concerned and they also have moslum problems but they deal with them in a very different way than we here in the free world do. So IMO dipy there is NO way that the USA confronting the islam crazies in their own back yard is swelling the ranks as you stated....they are just slithering out of there caves and holes where they have been waiting and breeding for hundreds of years...... and now the free world MUST take action. Hey even if a democrat should get in the White House in 08 who ever it is will understand what the real problem is and they will continue on the attack against islam terror. All the talk and BS that come from political parties is just that TALK and BS. The confrontation against radical islam has started...a little late.... and will continue no matter who is in power. To negotiate with the islam terrorists is to admit defeat and lose...... If you think islam terrorists will be nice to us infidels if we just be nice to them you are IMO badly mistaken as is anyone else who thinks this dangerous way. So dipy the enemy that Bush who you hate so much is trying to stop " radical islam " is the same enemy that wants you dead.
