why did Michael Schiavo, by his own testimony, wait 70 minutes to call 911? I hate this whole subject, but you are misleading in your statement of what went on as well. He did not testify that he waited 70 minutes to make a call. He did give approximate times (I believe years later??) that were 70 minutes after the 911 call was made. The possible explanations for that are numerous, and by making it sounds like he says he waited 70 minutes (when he may not have thought the actual time important in the testimony so just gave a rough idea), you are in the penalty box.
