Daley says Durbin should apologize for Guantanamo remarks CHICAGO Chicago Mayor Richard Daley says Senator Dick Durbin should apologize for comments comparing American interrogators at Guantanamo Bay to Nazis. Daley says Durbin -- a fellow Democrat -- is a good friend. But he says it's wrong to evoke comparisons to the horrors of the Holocaust or the millions of people killed in Russia under Stalin or in Cambodia under Pol Pot. And Daley says it's a disgrace to accuse military men and women of such conduct. Last Friday, Durbin said he regretted any misunderstandings caused by his comments earlier in the week.
