Officials say 28-year-old Clinton Rucker may have climbed over a fence. State prison records show Rucker was serving an eight-month sentence for breaking into cars, and that could have helped him steal a getaway vehicle. Police say he may have stolen a gray minivan from a home on Jamaica Lane in Gastonia. The vehicle has North Carolina tag TRX-8892.>
