Get him an introductory lesson at some place like Golf Galaxy, it's about 30.00 or you can go to a course close to you and ask about their intro. lesson for Jr.s golfers. Every summer, golf courses offer 4 day mini camps for kids. If he doesn't like it, you're not out much in the way of time or money. If he does, better start saving up all that spare change.<g> It doesn't have to but golf can get a little expensive. You can get carried away with all the cool looking gadgets that you think you have to have but never really use.
