As conservatives, we're supposed to keep to ourselves what we think the reaction would have been had the tables been turned. Heck..........we're supposed to keep everything to ourselves. Just speculating, but I have no doubts the NYTs would have run the story on page one until the republican senator was run out on a rail......even if it took years. That the DNC would have danced in the streets to find sedition on the part of the speaker, and the talking points leading up to every election between now and eternity would be archived and brought out when necessary. Heavens..........look what happened to trent Lott. And he was just trying to be nice to a very old man. Being nice does not fit into the plan. As conservatives we must take what they throw at us including being accused of acting on behalf of a "vast right wing attack machine" with grace and quit ruffling feathers. How utterly ridiculous. And it aint' going to happen. M
