Heh! Heh! This debate would be so completely different if a conservative had said something equally outrageous as Durbin did in a prepared statement on the floor of the US Senate. The MSM, leading Demn pols & certain folks on SI would be screaming bloody murder 24/7. A sincere apology, a complete retraction of every word uttered along with a thorough denunciation for the offending remarks & a resignation from the Senate would be considered wholly insufficient. Every MSM outlet would be announcing the results of polls that show how vast majorities of Americans & people around the globe are outraged over this incident. That statement would be used to beat conservatives over the head as proof positive of how low the RNC has sunk in all future debates ad infinitum. And a large number of conservatives would be among those who openly & loudly denounce the offensive statement(s). Libs have mastered the art of the intentional malicious slander & how to turn the tables on anyone how calls them to account. Not only that, but they are proficiently skilled at denying any culpability whatsoever, while they continue to make hey from their from their slander. And woe be it to anyone who tries to make them responsible. JMHO
