great idea. hit all workers for health care insurance like soc sec. it is the same as other countries it gets taken right out of pay checks. You will catch all those illegal workers , young kids who will not pay for health insurance and figure go to emergency ward if a problem. They also see no need for health insurance. but if we don't have healthy people contributing to health insurance then the system would be a bust.

There is another problem too, how about persons like myself who retired prior to age 65, no longer work but not yet eligible for Medicare? How am I to get into the plan? jdn
