The poor people where I live (the ME) would move to the US in a heartbeat if they had the opportunity, so they still like the US. They greatly prefer it to where they live (its a desert out here, ya know).

What a frigging surprise, sherlock. Don't confuse success at making money with greatness. Of course, someone living in hovel would want to trade it in for a Beverly Hills mansion. The reality is not anywhere close to the fantasy.
