When I was talking about the cow reverting to providing just enough milk for her calf, I was talking in general, not specifically about just the one cow. I assume, in my utopia, that all the animals who are alive will be turned over to animal sanctuaries to live out their days chewing clover in the nice sunshine, and they will know how to handle cows with too much milk. Perhaps they will milk them to feed the orphan cows? I don't really know, but I'm sure good people will figure it out.

From a previous discussion I remember here with, I believe, you and Average Joe, I remember that bulls have been selectively bred to be huge, all out of proportion to the cows. Once they are no longer selectively bred to be huge, I bet those nice cows would have fun mating, like they did through time. How many centuries have we had happy cows mating? A lot longer than this cold, scientific artificial insemination stuff. Since most of the males now are turned into veal calves, and cows are artificially inseminated with semen from a very small group of prize bulls, I'm guessing my vegan utopia would be a happier place for them, also, no matter what.
