I believe that abortions ought to be performed earlier rather than later so I find it appropriate to use the words "zygote" or "egg" or "blastocyst". If size or development or nervous systems are not issues with you...then WHY do you keep dropping those big tears and losing your spit?? "sperm and egg combine to create a new Person" That is incorrect. Human DNA is necessary for personhood but it is not sufficient. "What about Siamese Twins; are they incapable of possessing inalienable rights?" Unfortunately, yes. If you consider them as two separate individuals, then they have no true freedom. Their lives depend on pursuing (and ensuring) the life, liberty, and happiness of the other. It does not mean they have any less VALUE. It just means we cannot apply the same principle rationally. This is only to be expected as they are an exceptional instance of homo sapiens. A square has different properties than a circle. "Any parent is obliged to feed protect and "keep" their child alive. Are they also deprived of inalienable rights?" No...they have the right to freely choose what is in their interest and happiness. Normally, they feed and protect their children out of free choice. But they are not obligated to be their caregivers but may adopt them out as is often done. They are obligated to do no harm to them because children are individuals with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is in the Constitution. "Individuals are not "defined" into existence." Don't tell me you're getting it?!! You now realize that you cannot define a parasite egg as an individual just because it has human DNA?! There is nothing wrong with being a parasite egg. All life must begin with helplessness. But YOU don't get to decide whether or not a mother loves or wants her fertilized egg. Those big tears and whimpers from you are just your stupidity talking.
