I still am waiting to see if this was only ONE FBI individual who said this, or was it several FBI individuals who noted this? What was his/her name? Do we REALLY know if he/she was telling the truth?

What proof do we have?

Edit: So to be clear...you are ONLY talking about the treatment of the individuals at Gitmo....not talking of what other ways or places we could hold such individuals...or even if we should gather them up in the first place. Only their treatment...right?

If that is the case, maybe a non-partisan (HA!) group should go to Gitmo, and have a look around...report back to us, the conditions there.

Maybe the same non partisan groups could go to the other nations and see their prisons....

Ours, no matter where they are, will still be head and shoulders above the others....Want to make a bet?

Maybe we would all feel better if the folks there were treated as our prisoners in the US are treated.....Or would you rather they were treated as they would be in the prisons of their homelands?

The original question was, bad as they may be, do these conditions rise to the level of infamy achieved by Stalin, Hitler, or Pol Pot - as our esteemed Senate minority leader claims.
