We NEVER had much of a tolerance for war. If not for Pearl Harbor, we probably would never have entered WWII.

How can you say that when Bush looked for a way to get into a war with Iraq? Iraq was totally unnecessary. Johnson did the same thing with Vietnam. In fact, since WW II, it seems America has become more warlike.
