The new issue of TIME magazine has an article about the US AIR FORCE ACADEMY (resides in Colorado Springs a bastion of evangelical preachings) is being investigated for trying to persuade cadets to become believers in Christ. Some of the Jewish cadets are objecting. When investigated it seems that Evangelical proselytizing has been part of their modus operendi... for quite a while. Even God leads the players on the football field. He is the ultimate coach ..

Hmmmmm SEPARATION OF CHURCH and STATE ? AIR FORCE... isn't that government subsidized ?

The GOP has a big problem now, political fundamentalists who believe they put Bush in power so now they're owed big-time. Problem is, by paying them back, Repubs turn off the majority of the rest of the people, especially after Terri Schiavo.

The leading GOP candidates for prez are not fundamentalist-friendly. Only Frist is, and he's damaged goods already. DElay is Mr. Fundamentalist, but a proven crook and hypocrite who'll be lucky to stay out of prison.
