07:17 AAPL Apple Computer EPS estimate raised above consensus at Thomas Weisel (37.86 )

Thomas Weisel's checks with Apple specialist resellers and Apple retail stores suggest that the demand for Apple products (mainly 2GHz iMac G5 with SuperDrive, refreshed PowerBook and iPods, especially iPod mini and Shuffle) continues to be strong. 2GHz iMac G5 and 15-inch PowerBook are emerging as "best sellers" and should bolster gross margin. Firm raises FY 05 (Sep) EPS to $1.34 from $1.29 (consensus $1.32) and revenue to $13.58 bln from $13.41 bln (consensus $13.59 bln).

In the end, trading is all about price and volume.

Happy Trading!
