I day trade SPY, I don't own it, and the diuvidend is totally and absolutely irrelevant to me - spy tracks the s&p500

If that is actually the case I could imagine you being able to and having a need for, a better source for charts than Stockcharts.

all those nice annotated charts that you save are destroyed - all of those nice trend lines, support and resistance lines you have saved are rendered USELESS as the pirce is moved away by the adjustment

Ok, this is a valid point - I will look into this further to see if there is anything that can be done about it.
