Beats me why they do it other than its a product of fear and greed. I've found over the years that people buy penny stocks in a desperate attempt to get there money back from losses in the general market.. Anyway take a look at the declining volume on the dow as the dow has been rising...saw that in the nas in early 2000. And the media has gotten around to talking about the yield curve flattening after months of a trend pointing to this from late last year.
