More likely their will be a major cat fight first among several candidates hoping to draw support from the 'Christian right', with the goal of one of them scoring a quick knock-out over the others so he can then position himself as the 'anti-McCain' candidate. Just as on the Dem side, governors of VA, NM, IA, and a half dozen Senators, ex-Senators, etc., will all try to emerge quickly from the pack so that they can fold the others up and have people rally-round their flag as the 'anti-Clinton' candidate. It's very interesting that both the major Parties have early leaders that significant elements of their own Parties want to tear down.
