Wouldn't have the slightest idea... but, personally, I've believed the man was one of the worst Dictators and human rights abusers on the face of the planet for decades now, and I don't support ANY totalitarian, Floppy. (Do you say the same thing about Bush I, because he believed that an unstable situation would result when and if the Dictator was toppled?) I have never argued against toppling the Dictator (I strongly opposed him way back in the '80s, for example, when the US was propping him up after his 'million dead' war against Iran started going against him....) I merely argue for keeping our eyes open to the realities in the region. (The Pentagon and State Department experts had it pegged pretty right before the war began.)
