OK, the Crusades, the conquering of the Americas and the religious wars of Europe were hundreds of years ago. "Do Christian cut off you head if you don't come around to their side? Muslims do. There's the rub" Correction: SOME Muslims do. And some Christians shoot doctors for doing their jobs and plant bombs that kill innocent Olymics fans. Actually, those engaged in such acts are not trying to convert non-Muslims. They are simply trying to terrify them as a means to political power for themselves. But as usual, you paint all Muslims with the same broad brush that, in a different time and place, you might have been inclined to use to paint Catholics (or Protestants, if you are Catholic), Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, or any of a number of other racial, ethnic or religious groups. That brush is filled with ignorance, fear and hatred. There's the rub.
