His support and aid was likely not as great as that given by the Saudis. Saudia Arabia is very much a fanatical religious country, and significantly more so than Iraq. Syria, Iran, Egypt, and other Arab countries accomodate muslim fanatics. I entered this discussion as a result of someone's comment that the Iraqi invasion and the 1,700 dead soldiers have made the "skies over America safer." I disagree. Iraqi were never as great a threat as ... Osama bin Laden and AQ. Or how about Iran or even North Korea.
