"I believe the numbers war in abortion statistics do show currently 15yr consecutive drop in total number of abortions in the US since reaching a high in 1990 of around 1.4mil, down now to 853k...."

Does that mean we can expect the crime rate to start rising again in a couple of years? ;-)

I believe the later abortions are mostly because of abnormalities, and do we really want to force women to have an abnormal baby? I couldn't do that to someone else. Having a child with even mild to moderate disabilities can crush you and your family. It's not a choice that should be made for others, imo.

"perhaps some of the sex-education, and birth control availablility & awareness might have something to do with it ?"

One would hate to see a situation such as occurred in China where forced abortions or the killing of offspring became policy. That has ended for a year or so, hasn't it?

I'm offline till sometime next week. Thanks for the info.
