The fund raising thing. Therein lies the problem, period. Why should any corporation, labor union, or committee be allowed to contribute money to campaigns. Whatever happened to citizen rule? No reason on God's green earth for any entity other than individual US citizens to be able to contribute money to candidates or parties, and with limits, as well.
The big money has literally brought us the worst democracy money can buy....

Bush will go down in history as a dishonest man. Much like Nixon, though not as skilled except as a campaigner. He will also go down in history as 100% responsible forn getting us into a costly war which was better avoided.
