The nut cases want to trample the constitution and ban burning the flag. Don't they get it? The Constitution is the idea, the flag (and burning the flag) are just symbols. Nationalists worship symbols. Patriots might burn the flag ... when the symbol is being used for the wrong purpose ... like the idiots that drove around before the Iraq invasion with huge American flags on their trucks (I don't know if you guys had those nationalists driving around, but we had several of them) ... that was the wrong way to use the flag. Before the invasion, just to tweak the extremists, I put a sign in my back car window that read "War is Peace". Guess what? The nut cases kept driving up besides me and giving me the thumbs up! ROFLOL.
