"The White House is completely disconnected from reality. It's like they're just making it up as they go along. The reality is that we're losing in Iraq." ---- Republican Chuck Hagel

======My question still is, what do we get if we win? What if peace were to reign supreme tomorrow morning? What in the world would a peaceful Iraq look like?

The Kurds are in an autonomous state making their own plans about: 1. not listening to Baghdad and 2. jailing non Kurds in Kirkuk and 3. lobbying to get the oil fields in their autonomous state and then....divorce!

Whazza?

Would the Sunnis live under a Shiite state? Would the Shiites accept anything less than overwhelming power?

Whazza?

Is Iran going to stop meddling and cooing to their suddenly-friendly Iraqi neighbors?

What in the world do we get as the prize if we were to 'win' and when will we know we've won?

I'm very confused but not as confused as Bush is which is a frightening thought.
