And VERY expensive for the borrower in the case of Globalstar Telecommunications Limited which owned a chunk of Globalstar LP. But excellent for everyone in the case of QUALCOMM Inc. Unloading risk onto foreigners who are prepared to take the risk is not a bad idea.
