You have to do what you think is right with your own personal kids. My kids are so very different from anything you can imagine (I'm going off your posts to me here, not making things up- specifically the ones about opera and music, as regarded my children) that I think I probably have a better handle on how to communicate with them, and I'm sure I would have much less of a grasp on how to deal with your children. We can only do what we think right- and of course since we want different things, and believe different things are right, we really aren't going to be able to agree on much. You will do the things that you think will help your children, and I will do what I think will help mine.
