This was an interesting session.

The move down was triggered by a huge volume surge at the top that came out of nowhere. The ensuing fall was stopped by an even bigger surge of volume within a shorter time frame.

Hard to see on this chart..... Anyhow, yesterday there was evidence of short taking up positions. I believe we saw some of those cover today, and I suspect this was mostly program algorithms kicking in. And it looks to me like most of this was bearish.

I wish I could have seen the size of the executions.
