ubs in investing 500 million in a china bank. guess china should stop all the investment we are doing over there.

xon could buy up unocal. What is china buying up that anyone else can buy up.. assets. oil , equipment , some tech expertise. I just don't understand the up roar over unocal. I expect stock holders would be happy china came in at a higher price so they get a better price in a free market. If unocal is still under priced i expect some others would be interested in buying if the assets are less than $40/50 a barrel.

I have to assume if Total oil comes into the bid we all will be in uproar over the French buying our oil company. Well it isn't our oil company it trades on ny stock exchange and who knows how much of the stock ownership is spread around the world.
