I've interacted with a number of media people here in town due to my activism. I'd say that the number who are agenda-driven exceeds those who are truly bumpkins.

One reporter I know here is extremely pro-Zionist. I've read his stuff for a couple of years and the bias becomes apparent. For this guy, anti-war activists are putzes, George Bush can do no wrong, Democrats are clueless and Republicans are powerful. It's all presented as innuendo and cant. He's someone I'd say is far too clever and self-interested to be allowed to pose as a journalist. If you read Dana Milbank's hit piece on the Downing Street Memo Hearing, you'll read exactly the same sort of thing:
